What People Say

I love Kreete's thoroughness and how she brings elements from different dance styles into her classes, which we can practice femininely in heels. Additionally, I value her long-term background as a dancer and teacher both in Estonia and abroad 🫶 I recommend to everyone who's thinking about starting Heels classes - don't give up too quickly and enjoy the process, because consistency brings results 😇

I've never danced before, and I wanted to try something new and challenging. For me, High Heels dancing represents a way to step out of my comfort zone.Through this dance style, I've discovered new flexibility and fluidity in my movements, and most importantly, I've developed more self-love.The most empowering thing about High Heels is discovering a completely new side of myself. When you first start learning a choreography, nothing seems to work out. However, with the second attempt, things start falling into place. By the end, when you watch yourself on video, you can hardly recognize yourself because you look so amazing. It's a truly transformative experience.

Valentina

I started dancing heels because I wanted to try something new, something completely different to what I had done before. I had been dancing for most of my life in other styles but had to quit for nearly six years. I saw an ad for a heels class and it planted the seed in my mind that this would be the new challenge to take on when I do find the time again. The style is very feminine, flowy and powerful at the same time. It combines elements of many different styles to create a great performance piece. At first, I was a bit intimidated by the class because for me the confidence in dancing used to come from mastering the techniques and choreography, but in heels class confidence is the first element, the cornerstone to mastering the technique. After this realisation the classes became easier, more fun, and very liberating.

It’s surprising how many different styles can be danced in heels – and how much of a workout it is! Especially with the posture and muscle engagement cues Kreete gives. It's a fun way to switch off from a busy day while challenging both your brain and body. Dancing in these classes definitely made me more confident in heels, especially since I don't wear them often in everyday life. More importantly, it's reminded me that confidence doesn't have to come from what I think others think of me. Everyone in class is there to better themselves - and that mindset carries into other areas of life too. You don't need to be a "good" dancer to start - you just need to be curious and open to trying something new. Just start. You've got way more to gain than to lose. It's fun, empowering, and you'll impress yourself.

What to expect after trial class

High heels dance class is a mixture of proper heels technique, feminine movement, sensuality and having fun throughout the whole process. Women have the opportunity to discover their sensual side wearing heels which will already make them feel more attractive.

They have the opportunity to dance to different songs to broaden their dance vocabulary. In this class we will also work on body movement by doing exercises to learn how to open up our bodies more (chest, hips etc.). We will also include some exercises in the warmup and technical part of the lesson to increase flexibility and control of the body. Because a big part of Grete's lessons is always being able to perform while learning the choreography, then ladies will work to be able to dance in front of a camera, too. This class is a great way to increase the confidence, learn how to switch your weight while dancing on heels, flexibility, sensual and more open (bigger) movements.
